I think 25% before end of sep 2011. and another 25% before end of dec 2011.50% had been cleared by end of dec 2010.Earlier report said, there were only 2b to be cleared out of 8b.

Friend, "some one say market rapidly down next three week" "most of big players out of market with in 2 hourse". pls do not panic ppl by posting like this & do not post "some say.....". How do you know most big guns out within 2 hours????

There may be some selling pressure in coming days, but not much as you said. Because This will be effeted to the firms which are not having positive liquidity & other thing is as windi said there is no much credit to clear. So that pls do not make panic. Wait & see what will happen.

Ah ok I thought the dates have been changed or something as original post mention that CSE has sent a "fax" , and was thinking why they in such a hurry.

This guy is trying to create panic. Should report to SEC in the morning. I am dealing with three brokers, and had a chat with one CEO in the eve. Nothing was mention as such. Most are optimistic market will end SEP by reaching 7500 level. Credit rule applies only to brokers, who do not have enough capital.

As I heard, brokers have been advised to be within T+5 credits, and therefore some force selling has occurred.

Even though SEC has relaxed credit rules. I think they have not changed some of their previous decisions. As discussed by some in this forum, investors who were unable to clear debt as at 31.12.2010 were given an extension to settle 50% by 31st March 2011 and balance 50% by 30th June 2011.

Again the latter 50% was given an extension to settle 25% by 30th September 2011 and balance 25% by 31st December 2011. I do not think this got reversed. When I asked from my broker they were unable to confirm that SEC has revered this decision. So I think broker firms will stick with clearing 25% by 30th September 2011.

Can somebody confirm this? If this is the case we can expect some downward trend in the market by the end of this month. But this will be a slight downward trend since most of the debt is cleared by now. However the problem is, this is like a chain reaction. When some people see some red in the market they flock in and sell everything. So that will create huge movements and downward trend will be big and last for some time. Most of the new comers and investors who are not patient enough will create this scenario. This is the problem.

I think there are not much credits to be cleared. Now T5 is in action, brokers who have less liquidity must implement force selling. So force selling might be continuing in everyday. Do any one in this forum has outstanding credits which is older more than 5 days?. I think CSE is monitoring the liquidity status of brokers in daily basis, so they should write letters warning brokers who do not adhere to that rule.

No need to worry mate, now there is a provision for credit , so brokers with assets will lend , brokers who have no liquid assets will force sell, but their customers will leave them . So the red light is On for the brokers with no liquid assets . its only 25% credit , we went through 50% credit clearance , and we survived.. actually we are live and kicking ... ASI above 6900 , dont panic people... good things are yet to come.

Lots of force selling took place even end of July. That was on of the main reason that brought mkt below 6500 level. With the SECs announcement on 16.Aug.2011, ppl rushed to buy shares on credits without proper studying of the new rule. Many brokers are not providing credits now or most of them are not up to the SECs requirements to provide credits so same T-5 has been implementing . Even after SECs announcement, force selling took place and we saw various posts by our members regarding force selling. That 8b story came before July, with the force selling took place in July, it should be a relatively small amount still to be cleared. Does any one know exactly the remaining amount of credits that is to be cleared?

Is it Acuity?

Today I was asked to settle my whole outstanding. But that was still under T+3. I think Acuity is having some problems with liquidity.
