My broker firm allowed me to buy stocks up to 50% on credit on top of my invested amount.
My understanding is there is no force selling prevail at the moment.,But as my portfolio value is decreasing day by day due to share price drop,My 50% credit value has reached to more than 50% and every day my broker firm wants me to sell shares for lost to make it 50%..By doing this my portfolio value has decreased considerably.
And also now they are telling me that I have to settle that 50% credit as well, even though they are charging me penalty interest constantly.
I have lost more than 1.6 million rupees so far from my hard earned money and which is more than left for me now in my portfolio.
Can any one tell me the names of those regulators,so I can go to a black magic place and perform a black Magic to wish their lives become a hell and also to add wishing for their parents and children as well.,What else would I do??Go to their addresses and bash them or through acid on their faces??
What a Face

Don't go for harm others because all taken decisions are belonged to you. Keep it in your mind always. Exclamation

However, This is a very serious situation. You had to plan things that you wished to do.

SEC has informed all broker firms to clear credits(25% As I know). So, You will have to sell your shares with losses and clear debts.(broker's credit)

I can help you more. So, please provide below information please. I love you

1.Your broker firm
2.Shares that you have bought(with prices and quantities, bought with your credit or broker's credit)
3.Amount of money that you can put into your portfolio after all.
4.Total of broker's credit(debt)
5.Are you satisfied with your salary if you are doing a job. tell yes or no.

Saddest story that I have ever seen in this forum. Sad

Hey... if you want to do stock trading just find your own god damn money and do it for god's sake. Why the hell you want to borrow and trade ahhh? This is uncertain times with lot of manipulations.

If you do borrow then face the consequences.

Hi, dindon,

I also lost a similar amount in a similar manner. What we are doing wrong is using credit in a declining market. The bitter lesson to learn is never use credit in a declining trend.

Market is unpredictable and uncertain. You can't do it everyday. So please be watchful. Don't gamble.

This is very sad. It is also the tip of the iceberg. I am sure there are an increasing number of retail customers in similar or worse situations and they are feeling angry and upset. Its great that people are willing to help those in trouble. The thing is wrong to blame the regulators etc

In my view part of the problem is the inability to admit that a trade is wrong and sell a share once it has begun to lose money. The standard response seems to be to hold and hope. I have wondered why shares that go up on a speculative rocket only very slowly drift down once the manipulators have moved on. I now have come to the conclusion that this is due to those who bought at the top, holding and hoping.

It would be very interesting to survey those who bought GRAN @ Rs 200 plus and see how many are still holding on. Check the last 12 months of GRAN price action on a chart and you will what I am saying.

Borrowing money at the casino is like gambling on steroids.

This is your fault for not doing research and following what others tell you to do.

what happened was greed, and selfishness got in to you, with fear of losing your own money, wihotu seeing the reality.

You made your own mess. 50% credit is allowed, but they never force you to buy.

I never buy on credit. You know why, because I'm smart and beeing safe.
You know why, becasue with the captial I have, I will not exceed, because I know my capacity.

Stock market is like my poker table, and I play around with blue chips.

well said. we have to do our own research and not listen to others. we should get on board first and not once the ship has sailed off. as i've mentioned previously its okay if you can swim well and get on board.

Tell you what mate.. Stay out of the stock market and put your money in a bank. You can't do business and you certainly can't do stock trading.
You can't even accept the consequences of your own actions, you don't know the FUNDAMENTALS of investing (never invest borrowed money), you blame other people for your mistakes, you don't do any research (you THOUGHT there was no force selling) and you give up too easily (One big loss in a declining market and you are crying like a baby).
These are harsh words but this is the reality. This is not a suitable place for you. Just sell your shares, settle the debt and stay out.

yes.. don't buy on credit though you have. don't be too greedy. buy shares from your own money. No one can predict the market, so many shares are manipulating .. so has to be careful. This will be a good lesson to all. some time you will be lucky..but nothing can be guarantee. But if you go for a fundamental value share at least you will be a winner in long run. Share Market is not a casino house.

tell us who is the broker firm. Without stating broker firm how can trust your word.
And why some people not mentioning the broker name and using the term "my broker" ? Don't they have guts to say that ?
