I m posting this before take a decision, I thought to get some feedback from others. I know that nature of the market and no one give others advices. What I expect from you is to point out some hidden aspects I haven't seen.

Following are my lost making shares and I thought to get rid of them. I don't expect them to move in near future. therefore I thought to move to some other which are attractive to me, COMB and NTB. I believe these will do better in near future.
If sell on Monday it will around 17,000 against a investment of 1,12,000 creating loss of 15%. Alternatively I expect to a return from COMB and NTB. Even I lost entire 17,000 I m quite happy I learnt a worth more than that.

A small favour-thoughts Untitl10

I have doubts on expected value(at the end of this year) of COMB and NTB and RICH that i m going to sell.

Thanking in advance...

actually all of your shares are trading at low prices now and are not at selling stage unless you have to. If you are not in hurry maybe it is best to wait a little and sell with lesser losses.I feel rich, lolc are worth holding. I would not sell specially rich as it is trading close to lowest i have seen for awhile. (9.80). Plantation share st these prices are good if you can hold but am not sure how soon they will recover.

If you have other earnings and can cater some money I think you should try to add LOLC, RICH, COMB, NTB when they move to lower points instead of selling at the moment.

This is comparing the prices of other shares and considering prevailing situation of the country.

Compared to some others newcomers' portfolio you are at much healthy place.

You may hold your portfolio as it is for a bit longer. If possible without disposing any try to add NTB and COMB to your PF so that it become a balanced PF.

thank you very much Chnwi and Tiger
yes my portfolio is little older. recently I started to continuously monitor after finding this forum. learnt a lot during last 2 months.

My friend who introduced me to the market, gave me a strong advises, buy shares of solid companies and not to buy on credit.

Your advise is crystal clear to me. This may good time to put some money. One another thing I learnt from this forum is to invest less than 50% of my savings. I will invest more adhering to that discipline.

BTW,
NTB and COMB are very good banking shares as you identified. They are fundamentally strong. I saw a broker report which valued NTB at Rs 100+. I do not know about Rs 100 unless there is a very strong run like sept 10 ( when NTB went closer to rs 110). But yes it can very easily go back to Rs 75 ( when ever there is some run run) and in longer term could fetch Rs 80-90. In early this year NTB was around Rs 85. Also note that if SEYB moves it can also trigger NTB a little ( this is just a observation I made over the years as both use to trade in similar prices give nor take 10-15%. don;t quote me on this as thing can change in this irrational market.) By the way SEYB.N right price was Rs 75. Now going at Rs 65. Right now SEYB is better with Book value while NTB is more stronger with earnings.
