19-Sep-2011 Announcement

The Automated Trading System (ATS) experienced a hardware failure in the database servers shortly after the Open Auction today (19th September 2011).

The system recovery is taking much longer than expected, hence we regret to inform you that trading would not take place today.

In view of the above, all orders entered and trades executed today will not be valid.

it is another one...........

The Automated Trading System experienced a hardware failure in the database servers shortly after the Open Auction today.

The CSE is in the process of system recovery. The Market will be kept informed regarding the progress.

SEC fine few bilions on CSE and those will be distributed amung Investors but T3 not extended also SEC disided to take today as a market day affraid

Does that mean they do not consider today as a market day for T+3 and T+5 ?

Dear friends , yes CSE going to cancel all orders which executed on today. ( consider today as market holiday) but settlements days will not change and it will calculate including today.

dont they have backup servers, what is this ? even a small org has a backup server with data raid so system should hv been up and running with these.
