Need some advice

I'm a young new investor @ CSE

I brought the following shares beginning of this month under the advice of my Stock Broker.

10,000 EXPO @12.90
2,000 NTB @ 63.50
5,000 JINS @16.50
800 JKH @ 215

As of today the price of all the share that I have is below my purchase price. Can anyone tell me whether I should get out of any counters or should I hold on to these?

hold if you are a investor,but if you like to take a risk,then sell off and buy back later.........but without getting a risk i rather can advise you to hold on until things get better,the bought prices are not bad. Rolling Eyes

What do u mean by averaging? I have alot to learn regarding the stock market. I just do what my adviser tells me.

If you can invest more, buy more shares at lower prices (i.e EXPO @ 12 today). That way your average cost per share will decrease...

hold onto it. there is a possibility of the market picking sharply in October. This is based on technicals not rumors or predictions. lets wait and see. dont panic and sell for no reason since the counters you've picked are fundamental stocks.

I'm planning to wait. I was tempted to sell and exit but I decided to wait for at least a couple of mounts. Hopefully this credit crunch and forced selling settles down!

If u look at all the markets around the world CSE is the only market with lot of potential and has the least impact from the global financial turmoil.

I wish I entered the market now Sad

Some fundamentally strong counters are at a attractive price

And averaging is not advisable in a market like this, So better to hold on to your positions, watch the market closely if those counters are likely to move up with a positive market turnaround, then add more, and sell off at the best price you get!

Now I read alot of stuff (eg- forums ect...) and I'm a bit more aware than I used to be.
