Lesson for the day is that what the company does, how much it earns or how much it owns means nothing and has no impact on its share price/value. The only way to value a share is to see what the highest price it has reached in the past. If a share got to Rs 500 and then it falls to Rs250, then you need to buy those shares no matter how well or not the company is doing. As someday the share will get to Rs 500 or more.
I must stop wasting time reading financial statements, all I have to do is to look for the all time high and find those that have dropped the most from that high price. Much easier.
