Need expert view on SINI?
According to views I gathered from the forum & other sources it is a fundamentally good share, but what is happening now?
How is the price band works? Is it 10% from the last sold share value of the particular day Question

? Can any one explain please?

is 10% price band for both directions or upwards only?

Both directions on Weighted Avg. Price.
Though it has come down, traded volume is on the high side, than on an average day. Anyhow, it's more valuable than REG. So, there is more room to appreciate, as price band will end on Friday.

Agreed. Last Friday nearly 200,000 shares were traded above Rs.350/-.(could'nt remember Monday volumes) and during today & yesterday only 35,000(approx.) were traded within 302-350 levels.

It seems SINI is a very healthy counter at present levels since their might be a huge resistance around 285/- considering the volumes & prices traded during last couple of weeks.

This is not a BUY/SELL recommendation

Today's price range from 302 to 330.

According to financial statements of both companies, I observed that SINI is fairly undervalued than REG at present price levels.

As per the balance sheets the total assets of both companies is around Rs.1.0Bn and both companies have recorded attractive profits of REG-45.0Mn,SINI-55.0Mn for the past six months.

However the market capitalization of SINI is Rs.1.20Bn whereas the Market cap of REG stands at Rs.2.30Bn.Accordingly SINI should be traded at Rs.597/-(2.30Bn/3,846,300 shares) when compared with REG if we consider profit and assets of both companies.

This is not a Buy/Sell recommendation and please note that I also have traded both shares and still holding a considerable amount in my PF as a medium-long term investment. Very Happy
