Hi Guys.........

Following is my portfolio at the moment.

SHL 1800@27.10
Odel 1400@35.00
Vone 1000@28.25

In this sinking mkt, still I have thought of collecting something.My selections have been SHL@19.50,ATL@2.60 or some odel @ 33.00.(one of these) I have got only 60k and I can afford it for 3 months.
My view is I will have a chance to make a profit out of above collection once the mkt gets ok. What would be the best of above to collect?Is my thinking correct???
may seasoned investors comment please.........

In short run you may have good chance with ODEL. However this is not a buy/sell/hold recommendation.

SHL and ATL cant recommoned for short term. Odel can have a chance

SHL trading almost Rs.10 below its IPO price any time it might pickup and reach at least Rs.25.

Small note about ATL and SHL. These 2 shares at current level good for me. Have some patience though to identify the best deal. In order to get a profit within 3 months you must be spot on in terms of buying price. I would advise you to buy these 2 companies at the right time and let them grow in your portfolio for couple of years.

Thanks robotics. As i can rem SHL came down to 18 level in the very first day of its inception and moved to 26-27 same day giving some fortunate ppl good quick cash.

u should add CLND your watch list @ this price level.in this forum many people blame this share.those think it's highly over valued compare with previous price level.
but analyze what are their businesses and who is the intermediate personality of this share.mr.godahewa slowly increase their stake.
you can make good profit within one two months.
i hope critical post against this.

First welcome to this forum... yes you are correct..but rember it does not gave a qucik cash..Not a fortunate to the pepole who brought from the IPO has very hard time.. still the same.. if you are buying as new for 18 is better and there is a good chance to increase.. not so much..

@ Niwa and manula i think you ppl got the wrong value. SHL came down to 16.20 for the 1st day of IPO. yes some ppl bought it around 17 and sold it around 23 and got some profit while ppl who bought it at IPO still suffering .I think SHL is the one of the worst IPO we had ever.

i was talking about ppl who bought SHL at the mkt in the very first day around 18 and sold around 25 same day. Yes still IPO investors are reminding Mr.pathirages parents,regularly. lol.

Dont go behind directors. they got their own agenda. why bother about one share this much when there are few good under value share in the mkt. Dont forget once mkt correction is done, there would be good time for fundamentals.

Just take CIND, NSVPS is around 80 issued shares amounted 9.88m. very good investment if you are looking for short ,medium or long term investment. Other one is CTLD. With construction boom in the island, CIND has a great chance to reap good dividends of it.

yea you are right it came to 16 and picked up. some ppl was waiting till it drop 15 and missed the opportunity.
