This seems to the second season of BFL promotion. Dont you have any other shares to talk about than these 3. in post war sri lanks not only chicken companies but most of other companies too produced good results YoY.

Just to clarify if anyboby knows: whether the value added chicken products sold has to comply with the goevernment stipulated prices or not?

There is only one line can be found regarding chicken in the Consumer Affairs Authority of Sri Lanka website is;

"Frozen, Broiler Chicken Meat with skin 100g - 35 Rs."

So, there is no price control for chicken, which doesn't satisfy the above line (Frozen, Broiler Chicken Meat with Skin).

Niwa, it looks like promotion to me as well but what I mention was a clear cut fact.. Its not rocket science to understand in coming festive seasons poultry has a big demand.. look at the earning of all 2 poultry companies TAFL, BFL..
