I guess it will be useful to all of us to learn from mistakes.
My biggest unrealised loss is coming from totally different shares. 1 DIST (bought 182 and now 162 2. PHAR (Bought 1950 and now 1400). Bought Dist and Dimo cos of the share value. But price is going down. It hurts Sad

I bought EAST @ 44/-. (Actually it was a mistake. I put a buy order instead of a sell order) & REG @ 505/-.

Still holding to both of them to sell them at a minimum loss.

Also, if you don't mind, what do you think about COMB and other banking shares?

I'm a very small scale investor, my losses came from DFCC@165, DFCC@137, DFCC@127, RICH@13.50, NTB@65.... I couldn't hold on to these losses, I wanted to switch to SAMP and COMB so I took the decision to sell at a loss Embarassed

My biggest in 2011 is FLCH (unrealized). Some portion I have got it from IPO. Later I purchased many times in the market between Rs 4.00 and Rs 5.50. Right now unrealized loss is around 25%.

I have cleared most of my PF before the downtrend. I am holding 90% cash in my portfolio. I had a great escape from a big loss. Just see the prices and shares I sold,
NTB - 68 (loss - Average price 78/-)
KGAL - 175/- (loss - Average price 192/-)
NAMU - 105/- (loss - Average price 115/-)
HOPL - 65/- (Profit - Average price 33/-)
KAPI - 68/- (profit - Average price 65/-)
GRAN - 140/- (profit - Average price 85/-)

I can remember I sold my DFCC at 220/- just after the bonus issue. Just see the price now. Most of the shares are very attractive now. Specially banking shares.
