When could we expect the market to revive to an acceptable level. As at 12 noon today turnover was at a incredibly low level of around 180M.
ASI & MPI both are dipping while MPI is dipping at much higher rate, which looks very bad.

By now SEC and CSE should be in a position to tell the market what is going wrong with the market. Isn't it their duty while collecting all sort of Fees and Levies from each of our transactions? Why are we kept in the dark while the investors money is being drained out.

I would very much appreciate our senior friends voices on this as they may be in better position with more information flowing to them than us.
Thanking you in advance.

True deva. They act like deaf and blind people. They should have the decency to tell us what is going on. Otherwise people lose confidence and faith in this market. It is high time to come out and tell us something about market before it is too late. Another hillarious thing is they conduct islandwide seminars to promote stock market in the rural areas at a time market is performing well below the expectations of investing public. How are they doing this? What are the plus points they sell about this market? or are they trying to put those village guys in trouble in encouraging them to invest in CSE. I do not know what they are doing. Very pathetic situation specialy for people whose sole income is from investing in CSE.

Thank you for the comments. CSE is now trying to suck the blood of people from rural areas.

Exactly Deva. Poor rural fellows are also dragged in to this pic hole.
Why cant the SEC tell the reason why the market is going down.
Why are those people paid at SEC? to such our blood?

IF we are in dark government also will affect. cos for the budget government expect some revenue from capital market. since turnover going down they have two option.
1) Increase the transaction fee
2) Do something to increase the turnover.

Otherwise they will not get expected income from capital market.

I do not call myself an expert. The market was heavily overvalued (read my previous posts if need more). It is moving towards fairly valued region. However, the global context and policies adopted by of Sri Lankan GOV, have made future little cloudy. Therefore investors need (expect) higher return. In other words they may want market to little more go down. Note even manipulators may not want to enter until market becomes attractive. See here for more http://forum.srilankaequity.com/t11771-like-or-dislike-manupulation-is-the-best#78406 (look at the middle of the page not latter discussion.

Some are waiting to invest more... until all credit is cleared, if they invest now and investment value goes down in december whats the use. ? when every thing is cleared no risk of further devaluation. who is going to invest and experience further losses! market is going to be green again,.
