LOL super results? They have made huge loss compared with the last years same quarter! These companies seems to be going backwards if anything!

Here we go again. Chicken Lovers vs Haters arguments.

I do not know whether there is going to be run or not as we still do not see technical signs for it yet ( as a SHARE , irrespective of poultry or not)

but if you like Chicken shares , study yourself and buy at the right time
If Do not like chicken share, you don;t have to buy.

There is risk in chicken share as with many other shares.

Hmm, are you basing this one technicals. Volume wise we still did not see enough to justify.

True. But in bear markets even certain share can have runs . We do not know. I am not talking Chicken shares specifically. Any share .

Lets hope at least 1 share in your portfolio runs so we can gain some profit.

I heard someone said poultry companies had made Losses?? Sniff Sniff.... lol!

In 2010 and beginning of 2011 I was interested in Poultry companies, so I had to check this cuz I'd have known then not to invest in these know??

But apparently neither of these poultry companies, GRAN, TAFL, BFL made losses after 2010..

There is an increase in demand for raw material used for animal feed production and the various disasters that have occurred around the world have contributed somewhat to an increase in price of various raw materials. This made the COS high and eventually locally too, the floods in 2010 in the country had adversely affected crops, thus leading to a drop in production of feed raw material. This could be an on going concern to the entire industry at large.

BFL
As per chairman's review, Bairaha will look to increase its production of Day Old Chicks by 15% to 20% through its newly introduced farm Nature’s Best Industry Ltd. They expect to ‘harvest’ the first batch of birds from the new farm by August/September 2011. If all goes well we know the revenue increase this can cause..

Are we seeing something?

Being of a cyclical nature, the poultry business is characterised by the ebbs and flows of demand, where a flat market can experience sudden surges in demand too..

It will be difficult for all poultry companies to produce 2010 results in future unless the Fish prices goes up and demand in meat products increased, but its not rocket science for any1 to understand the companies can sustain the current price levels and if focus on being innovative in their products, can improve a lot as well..
