Uncle Harry is at it again.
Looks like the BBH rights issue was undersubscribed so he has got AHUN to carry the load and basically underwrite the entire righst issue.
Harry's privately owned Stassens Exports is the main shareholder of BBH with 44% but the publicly owned AHUN (the second largest with 28% shareholding) is forced to buy up the rights.
Stassen Exports is not putting any money but the minority shareholders of AHUN has to pay the price. Being a minority shareholder in Harry J's companies is similar to playing russian roullete. Sometimes you might win other times boom.

Interesting question is will Stassens Export also accept the mandatory offer?

Good observation innam, it would've been made to see the BBH is so prospective and AHUN is eyeing on it.. These are the real things we dont get everyday.. Thanks!! Cool
