Yes I'm bored a little, decided to do a little crowd analysis.

- A considerable number of members are very positive and seems to be promoting "hold" recommendations (directly or indirectly).
- Some veteran members are back but seems to be skeptic or negative about the outlook. The fact that they are back might be indicative of some hope, but they might just be here to say "don't get caught".
- Some members are repeatedly posting about a possible "better future", may be they are just excited but sometimes I felt bit suspicious.

In any case it would be interesting to see how the market turns out in the next couple of weeks. I'm neither negative or positive, just enjoying the show, hopefully I'm not alone Smile

For me this is a big learning experience. I've never been in this kind of a phase in CSE. So, looking at how people react, what kind of people predict the market correctly and what kind of people miss the opportunity is interesting for me!

Cheers!

we have to buy and promote fundamentals not craps. you know what happened last time when most craps sky rocketed and made ASI break records. this time those same craps + new addition craps doing the bulk, its dangerous. when in a down tern, not only craps even good fundamentals come heavily down.

http://forum.srilankaequity.com/t2594-lets-buy-some-shares-i-wanna-be-an-investor-yep-yep-yep-an-investor

X company

Amal is buying X company shares, Kamal is buying, Wimal also buying. hmmmm what should I do.
Yes guess what I bought it for a 50% premium. According to Amal, Kamal & Wimal this rally is yet to be started in full scale. Within two days my share appreciated further 10%. I am happy. Very happy. Yes they were correct.
Stupid other people did not buy X company share when I told them to buy. They no nothing I’m the best Laughing Laughing Laughing

Next week.

Amal is selling his shares, Kamal is selling, Wimal also selling.... Oops stupid me I missed it & I'm now in red. Shocked
Better be waiting few more days. No improvements.....

Some people say that Rule No.1: Never lose money, Rule No.2 Never forget rule no. 1. Yes I need to remember this all the time. Not to lose money. So I’m waiting..

Few months later...

I’m still waiting to sell my X company shares.... & interestingly Amal, Kamal & Wimal are buying Y company shares. Some other small investors are following them & buying Y company shares at a premium as same as I used to do.

(Please note that these three people namely Amal,Kamal & Wimal live in my imaginary world)

I don't know why some members are so concern on fundamentals. They promote always fundamentally strong shares and blame all others who express their views on other shares. In any market in the world ppl buy all type of shares and may be some are interested on fundamentals and the some ppl buy other shares for different reasons. If investors/traders generally restrict to only fundamental shares non-fundamental shares would have not been trading in any market.
Other point is we are dealing shares to earn some money and should not worried about the nature of the shares unless some one's intension is to hold it for longer period.
We can express our views but should not (hurt others)heat others mind.
When the market is in a downfall not only so called CRAPs even the Fundamentally strong shares are falling.

Any where there are different type of pepole. Now here also some are going behind fundamentals and some are going behind crap. As I am also like most fundmenatals it is like fixed deposit with real valvue and keep some portion for the craps to earn some quick money. taking risk.

Due to the crap shares upgrade market can form bubles, but many want money fast. That the real. whole world is behind money. They dont think the future of the market.

We have to agree with the concept of both type of followers and to live with it.
