QB, U will have to have big prison for useless items. But Ur prison is useless 'cos post is already published and lots of members already waste their time to read them.
Do u reduce marks of member when post move to prison???
So prison is became another Forum!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a new member to "Forex Factory" Forum. I am not allowed Followings options as a junior member. Here also U should do something like this. Otherwise new members will not learn forum practices.( This will apply to me also - Its OK)

Forex Factory Restrictions for junior members
1.Starting threads
2.Emailing other Members
3.Sending private messages
4.Liking news
5.Viewing the Members' Lounge
6.Setting yourself to invisible mode
7.Displaying a signature in your forum posts
8.Large allotment of space for attachments

Should this (Forum) be a Boarding Schools where seniors have a different sets of rules than the juniors? Cool

Yes , there are reasons
# Everything’s post in Stock Market Talks section
#some are trying to promote shares
#some are give unrelated topics, religion, politics etc
#some try to type something and get marks and ranks
#some create fake ids - I feel same person has more than 2 ids
Finally all are talking everything except stock market in Stock Market Talks

My proposals are,
1. Allow new member to create new post after some no of activities
Ex. After commenting on 10 topics created by some other member.
2. When deleting post in the prison reduce 20 marks of the person who post the item ( New Members -below Seniors Manager level).
3. When deleting post in the prison reduce 100 marks of the person who post the item ( Seniors-above Seniors Manager level).

Result --> If he/she does same mistake continuously he will end up with "0"marks and system will consider him as a new member. Then he/ she will have to wait some time to post new entry. This apply to all senior/junior members according to their behavior

Actually in the past there was no Prison section in this forum. The useless posts got deleted by moderators. But then members requested garbage bin or waste bin for deleted items saying that then all the members could see the uselessness of deleted items. Then only QB made this prison section and the name Prison was also a suggestion of one of our members.

Keeping quaratined posts is a very good idea. Nothing should be deleted. That would be like getting rid of the evidence specially activities of the moderators. There should be transparency of which posts were deleted and why. If you allow moderators to delete the posts, that's like washing your bloody hands.

Very funny.... Very Happy
Rule should be equal for all.
I thought I am in Sri Lankan (not in @#$%^&*) and participating in a Forum with people who have no comprehension problem.
Good luck affraid

Initial plan was delete in 7 days after sending to the prison, which I think the moderators forget or asked by someone not to delete?
