strange fact is that when sentiment is low stocks loss irrespective of earnings ,fundamentals ,when sentiment is high stocks gain irrespective of earnings. just imagine market recover and starts to move ,then some unexpected shares would start to move.surely this time also same thing will repeat.not only in cse ,generally it happens everywhere.no rationality,this is just a wild card game.

only very few exceptions such as LLUB

you can't come to a conclusion using only last quater. Decision can be taken after 3rd & 4th quarter

WHAT are new business ventures acquired by kAPI ?
Power Generation Plant -In Jaffna-This can be used to fulfill the requirement of electricity of Jaffna Peninsula.
Heavy engineering business which makes ships and other heavy engineering
Most of the bridges and roads are constructed by KAPI or its subsidiary companies (CML ).

Concerns,
May be there are dues from the government.
Monies collected from rights issue.
bids already won for big projects.

According to the news what I heard ,It is true.
And they have won Colombo-Kandy high way bid also.
But I could not find a reliable source to CONFIRM it.

Colombo-Kandy ? Is it true? I heard that Colombo-Kandy High way will offer on BOT basis. That means Bidder will have to invest and opperate for resonable period to cover cost and make profit and after that hand over High way to the government. If that is the case Bidder could gain profit only after about 6-7 years .

This news cannot be confirmed .
But if they start the project , they don't have to wait 6-7 years to show their profits.Part by part of their funds will be given to them and accordingly profits will be shown.

These are capital intensive Companies, Depreciation eats in a lot out of The GP. and they have to keep investing in for assets.

For to decide whether the company is turning around or not we have to look in to the quarterly performance. Revenue and profit should grow quarter to quater. not a one off performance like MTD.

For me this is not even worth for 20/-
