Most of the companies are over valued at current PE ( haven't done a analyze about future PE. It will come to PE of 10 within 2 years. you can check broker reports on banks)
Union banks IPO
Lot of upcoming IPOs (People selling shares for them eg: Nimal Perera LFIN and VFIN)
Credit clearing by SEC

SEC need to have a control on IPOs. Otherwise retailers are

As soon as the PE goes one point down there's a rally and it goes up more than the old ratio. We are all fishing in a small puddle of water. Lots of fishermen. So little fish. Only solution is to increase the fish. IPOs or whatever. There should be more fish. And there should be more fish in the open water not in tanks. Having private placements won't help if it's not going public. What other solution is there?

IPOs can be a solution

but 50 IPOs for a year is too much

Yes according to CSE announcement it is about 50 IPOs . But What is the volume and value. According to (CSE) DG's annoncement recently value of all those stocks is estimated to around Rs.5 billion. It is not a huge amount to upset the demand for existing stocks I believe. May be above figures are wrong.

IMO intelligent players can still earn great even at the current secondary market! Remember that you suppose to buy shares at bottom and if you think the shares have gone down considerably thats your que to buy!
If you are new and it is a bit hard it might be better to spend you cash on IPOS. Then try to get an account in a bank like NTB and get a bank draft for a higher amount from them till SEC try something!

I think retailers having learned that only a tiny proportion will be allocated at the end, all will look for gains from the already listed shares in the CSE in the future. Even the bank guarantees are not going to be very helpful. It is not worth withdrawing funds from the existing shares and looking for IPO shares. One of the reasons for delay in banking sector shares to reflect good financial results in the share value was the Union Bank IPO. With the return of funds and with the expected returns entire share market could return to the upward movement again.

Some collect liquid blue chips while IPO stagnate the market.
