this guy should be a fake investor and looks like a Agent for a HNWI who wants to buy shares from small investors at 'kunumalu' price. That is why always he is posting negetive ideas.

Dear illuminati,

Frankly I am asking illiminati, Could you please elaborate little with some facts to enrich your point. Why do you think that ASI would come down further? At what point you think it would turn and on what reason etc. Then we can have a helthy discussion I believe.

Dear Raja
I have no idea when the market is going to bottom out.I guess nobody can tell you that. But how can we be bullish,

1. When interest rates are projected to go up
2. When the balance of payments are negative 50%
3.When European and middle eastern economies ( our main export markets) are in dire straits
4. When the fiscal policy of the government is unpredictable
5.When companies sell assets to show growth
6.When the stock market is almost fully retailed out
The list is endless. May be you could add a few. The smart investors will not throw money to the market under such an environment. They only watch

Coz illuminati indirectly indicates ASI would go down further in his posts under this thread. See fllowing;

Not only this chap but most of the so called experts in this forum do the same thing. How many times we see experts advising novices to hold their loosing positions or advising to buy more to average down. This is done to protect their own loosing positions. Rubber, chicken and many more were promoted by the experts. Be careful new comers most of the experts and senior members are still holding on to loosing positions and they will do whatever to protect them. What they do is also trap innocents in a more subtle way.

Yes, There are some valid points . But

1. Interest rates have gone up little and there are different views among the Economists whether it will go
up further or not. With the CB's recent decision to liberalise the limits for borrowings from foreing banks/finance Institutions I hope domestic demand for credit could be managed in comfortable manner .
2. I too agree with the point that widening trade gap would cause for many economic problems unless
remedial measures are taken timely.
3. This fact has an effect.(problems in European and Middle east economies)
4. Unpredictable Fiscal policy is not new a thing.
5. Companies sell assets :This is hapennig every year. We should not forgot that companies whenever they see that they could be benefited by selling an asset rather than holding it they can do it. May be you want to say that companies do this purposely to show good results. I dont think so. May be coz of capital gain their Net profit goes up. But I cant say that they do that solely for that purpose.
6. Stock market is fully retailed out; That is as everybody says due to correction no? But there will be a end of correction and Big ppl have to come back at certain point no. Most investors think we are in that point now. They cant expect downfall forever till 0 no. Already ASI has droped from 7800 to 5900 nearly 25%. Asi 5800-6000 has shown as a support level since it is around 5900 for considerable period. That is why many members expect a turn now.

May be I am wrong.
