Dear Members

After careful consideration of the requests made by the members, we have decided to allow submission of the news articles appearing in printed newspapers to the forum only on the following basis.

* There should be only one thread per day in the 'News" Section relating to News articles appearing in the Printed Newspapers.
The Title of the thread should be as follows:
Sri Lanka Newspapers - Date (Eg; 25/12/2011)

* Members can post all news articles appearing in the Printed Newspapers on that particular day under this thread by way of messages/replies.

* Full articles should be posted (Links without contents will not be allowed). Link and the authors name should appear at the end of the content.

* This applies only in respect of the articles appear in the affiliated websites of the Local Printed Newspapers.

* Moderators reserve the right to post any article as a new thread in any section of the forum, if they believe that the respective article is beneficials to members and/or will have a significant impact to the stock market, that may warrant member discussions and comments.

Good work Quibit, @ these ppl posting news paper articles 2 increase da no of posts. This is clear coz CSE.SAS wanted 2 get more post in short time. So, if news paper articles are not counted as postings, these ppl not going 2 post. So, pls consider this

I am very happy to see members following the new guideline relating to News Posts. News is a very important aspect of any forum and is a source for many fruitful discussions. We would like to make this section more attractive to members. I also welcome CSE.SAS and other members effort to keep this section active.

To make the news section attractive, We thought it may be better to rename the Title of the daily thread to more attractive one instead of simply say "Sri Lanka Newspapers - 12/11/2011" etc. May be something like "Mulpituwa".

Appreciate if members could suggest some names.

Dear members,

We have amended the current rule. Now members can start new threads in the 'news section' by pasting important and interesting stock market related articles published in News Papers. Earlier rule restricted such articles to be published only as a reply under the "Daily News paper" thread. This change of rule is to encourage more constructive discussion relating to current topics.

Hope the members understand the objective of this rule and contribute for the benefit of the majority membership.

Thanks a lot for the amendments made.
Definitely this will help us to discuss the CSE related news.

Sometimes we do not bother referring to previous guidelines made constructively.
Just take things for granted.

I am a firm believer that Forums should be run with minimum regulations and restrictions.

With Forum Guidelines as reference points and its the members should impose on themselves the lines within which to operate.

2. for 2nd point, if you are doing that, it maybe becomming like eastern ukraine lawless country randomly shooting planes no ?

3. for third point, it is easy for you to say bcos you as SHARK are swimming in ocean which having no reference points. other people on earth for eg see GAZA having set lines to operate.

You are Right BH  Cool

Its not the System that is faulty.
People in which they operate are having crooked ideology, and feed on dead carcass and old stories brought up now and then to halt our journey. (no reference to you). Some like to live in the Past and Forget the Future.

I like your style of writing, and bring home the point which your are referring.

Have you heard of that SHARKs come back to their Birth Place .....

I have come back to my Original Place i suppose  Wink

You have a point. But still the extent of regulations and restrictions should be applied based on the decipline of the members as well.
Regulations and the restrictions in the Prison should not necessarilly be the same at a Court. Cool
