1. I made some posts, no reply, so I want to bump them up after giving a reasonable time.. Looks like this is not possible. Can such a feature be implemented?

2. I think it would be a good idea to have a topic bumped to the top when there is a reply..

No I don't think in the "latest section" topics are bumped up when there is a reply. It just seems to list latest posts in chronological order..

I've replied to my query about protection price..

I asked a question on this thread also which got no responses

Not a good idea. The page will be full of old promotions getting to top always. I remember in the old forum first post was always 'CARS, BUKI, AHUN... rally' posts.

may be you are right..

But suppose I really want others to see my post and look for an answer the only thing I could do is to make a new post, which may not go well with the mods. Is there no other solution for this?

Use 'View posts since last visit' option, then it shows the latest replies at the top.
I think Latest Topics also does the same.

I can understand your feeling.
Particulary in this forum there are so many questions unanswered, just I checked more than 300 posts without comments or unanswered.
But one thing we need to understand that all the questions were not purposly over looked by others.( in your case that happened)
As 2011_newcomers said those are the easiest way to find the posts.
Basically in the busiest world so many good posts were over looked in this forum.
Still I found so many good posts even without one comment and less views.
My personal advice is dig around sometimes you'll find the answer for your problem.
