Jan 04, 2012 (LBT) - In a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange it was informed that the securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka by their letter dated 23rd November 2011, granted approval to transfer 54,600,000 Ordinary shares held by the employees for nil cash consideration to People’s Bank. Pursuant to a decision taken by the employees of the company to voluntarily transfer the shares renounced in their favour by peoples’s bank on the 30th June 2011 back to Peoples’s Bank.
