Why have a below 1% allocation into a sector? You might as well not bother with it.
Also looks like you have too much allocation into diversified and not enough into Health/Hotels/Land

Thanks for feed back. Valid point. Health/Hotels/Land I think its already valued for next 1-2 years, isn't it? If we discount the possibility of another phenomenal rise in the market and assume that market will behave more rationally after this onslaught, at least until people forget this period.

Major holdings are into below companies. The selection is based on fundermentally sound companies which has large market to penetrate over short term, has invested in capacity building, low P/e, & dividend yield.

Although FLCH and RICH are in diversified holding sector, they are heavily depend on plantations. So we have to consider that factor when allocating funds. I have allocated more on B&F, F&B, construction related stocks such as cables, ceramic and cement in manufacturing sector and some undervalued stocks in Land & Property.

I think you have far too much shares in your pf. There was a very interesting post by UKBOY about the best number of counters to have in a pf. I will try to find it.
Like buffet says, Diversification may preserve wealth, but concentration builds wealth.

Tiger,

Can I ask you something...
How long have you been investing in CSE up to now?

If you want to expand your portfolio... just consider HSIG, HUNT, SOY, SMOT & YORK Very Happy

Chamith,
I agree with you!
But... there's nothing wrong "if you know what you're doing"!

You are correct, however we dont have the luxury of proper analysis in CSE. Most of the time its financial statement analysis only. Therefore its too risky to concentrate on few companies only, isn't it? We have seen the biggest falls were in very sound companies.
In terms of sector exposure what is your thoughts?

Plantations, Motor and Banking Sector is trading lower

For example In plantation some are mainly focused on Tea and some have mix of palm oil, Rubber as well. some have diversified to Hydro and leisure and other long term Investment. They use there existing assets for diversifiaction to max ROA.

Namu,Kgal& Agal last qtr reporting looks good. Whether they can sustain this will prove with the Dec Qtr results. factors affecting the tea price and rubber price may reverse in future or may take time

My allocation varies according to the longterm and short term position. out of the longterm investment plantations have the higher allocations with above mentioned 3 shares. for short & medium term Motor and Banks takes the higher allocation.
