Happy GREG day for all !

anyone knows the the Trading logic behind GREG normal (falls) and warrends (gain)

ex- Warrend 2 price 14-15. (convertion price Rs 33/-) Total cost = 33+14=47

is that mean that by end of this year the Greg normal price will touc h above Rs 50?

Idea

OMG ! No.
You cannot fix the trading price like that .It may go above 47 or below 47.

But, the conversion price is fixed. (you must pay 33/-)
Hence you will loose if N share goes below 47.

GREG.W1 closed on May13 th 2011 for Rs 43.9
GREG. N closed on May 13th 2011 for Rs 67.4

So essentially then ( when the market was not this lethargic ) it was trading proportionately as conversion price of w1 was Rs 24.

But as Chinwi said there is no gurantee it will happen again. It may or may not. Cannot be sure.

What if warrant prices start coming down instead of Greg.N going up? It has known to happen. Recently recall what happened to SEMB warrants.

Let hope for everyone sake by end of 2012 CSE will be talk of the world ( positive) but if it does it is dangerous to assume the calculations you made.

My question is why investors to traders buy warrends at these prices when N is very attractive comparing to W prices. whats is the logic behind this buy attitude?

Even the parent company didn't fully exercise their eligible warrants to convert to normal shares.
May be the cash flow was the problem.
That was the reason some days back there was a story regarding private placement at 24.
So in future that mean 2012,14 & 15 warrants also not fully converted by parent company due to cash flow. ( May be I'm wrong)
So near to 2012 warrant conversion dates we can still hear private placement stories which will affect our GREG lovers.

To overcome this problem may be they will start another right issue story with warrants, but our investors nowadays much intelligent to face that type of scam.

as I can remember there is some new rule regarding issuing warrants after these warrant factories came up. I don't think they can issue at will now
