I am new to CSE. I entered to stock market in late October last year. I invested on BFT, TAFL, DIMO and UML and got a good profit. Still I am holding some of those.

This time I am interested in to invest on plantation sector. When I am going through this forum, I found rubber plantation has future potential since demand for the rubber is increasing. So, I selected HOPL and KGAL, which has more in to rubber plantation than Tea.

Plantation sectors have appreciated dramatically during last two moths. My question is, is it the right time to invest on plantation sector. How can the recent weather condition could effect the planation sector? Any other plantation sectors other HOPL and KGAL, which has future potential?

Thanks

Well technically yes, its a good time..

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/quote?ticker=KGAL:SL

Also Fundamentally, KGAL has a good potential, it has fallen to this level from nearly 270s and if the upward momentum continues, this can at least pass 250 I think..

Pls note, its just my view with technical indicators.. refer more;

I've not studied HOPL so cant talk abt it.. For the time being I'm bullish on KGAL & NAMU.. Also cannot forget AGAL for its Rubber+Palm Oil mix.. ;-)

my main concern is the expected wage revision after April, specially for the plantations which mainly depend on Tea
