Possible bird flue case in Bingiriya

that will be the end of Chicken stocks

anyways, this was on the cards and thats why chicken stocks didn't go up even during small rallies

Well I highly doubt it and even if there is I dont think it will highly affect the price as it would just be short term. Bird flue is something thats well covered now. It was a big problem in the past but not anymore. Prices are being dragged down for some reason. Maybe this is just a rumour to put the price down.

I noticed this news this morning. But still we didn't notice major panic selling.
BFL is down by 3.2%
GRAN is down by 3%
TAFL is down by 2.3%

daily mirror has updated the previous mentioned article, the association for poultry has declared that sri lanka is 100% free from bird flue. Check dailymirror for more updates

All these poultry farms have better control mechanisms to prevent these epidamic situations.. Otherwise how will they survive a crisis hit the grounds? An epidamic or a similar case can wipe down an entire qurater's earnings if you see the big picture..
I heard on news the case was only identified on a specific farm and the samples collected from the respective area was not positive for such incident..

One should not panic on just one news Wink

my advise is to hang on to those poultry stocks. There will be light at end of the tunnel.
