The average 'Dividend Payout Ratio' for CSE is about 27.4%. That means out of every Rs 100 of profits earned by CSE companies last year, Rs 27.36 was paid to shareholders as dividends. The best companies in this regard are acknowledged to be CTC, LLUB and NEST.Kithsiri wrote:What is the average ratio of Retention & Share (profits) in the CSE ? Is there an acceptable Ratio?

All three you mantioned are foreign owned companies. They want to take their profit out. In future we can guessss LIOC and even Ashok since foreiners would like to have return for their investment. Nothing wrong.

Today I heard a story (I couldn't verify) that LIOC's activities in Srilanka might stopped by SL Govt due to India's involment in Geneva Resolution.
If it's true CTC may be suffer in future.
