Looking at the positive information and the empowerment of BOP due to low global oil prices which in case increase the profitability of CPC helping them to deleverage, we can come to a conclusion that yesterday's rally was not just an illusionist or fake unlike what we had in the past. appreciation of the rupee and more expectations of Foreign inflows luckily this week or next and the release of sarath fonseka thanks to international pressure will possibly cause the long awaited market uptrend.

Most investors will tend to keep their hands off these rally's since in the past we saw that when market was up in such a way futures remained bearish. But this time we should take into consideration that the upward trend was seen due to many positive factors. lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that government wont do any foolish move to dampen the confidence of investors and positive will prolong if the SEC can penalize the wrongdoers of the controversial deal (NSB-TFC).

Thanks K&M for your analyses but what if global oil prices go up again. I hope it will not happen.

oil prices will not go up in the coming weeks main cause for it is the Greece current political situation, theirs much fear that Greece will exit euro, due this the commodities will decrease or will remain in the current situation until some positive comes out. mean time SL can make profit out of them and stabilize the BOP Smile

Brent and crude prices has doped almost 15 to 16% in the last couple of months, if the prices remained unchanged in my view it most likely drop in the coming months due to the euro zone crisis we can foresee further profits to CPC, in my view currently their profiting around 40-50% since they increased the oil price domestically and this will be enough to deleverage the current situation. so lets hope that the massive debt get layered and optimize that these money wont be used to our ministers personal use.

retailers are reluctant to hold their stocks for a period of time. we should agree with them after what happens in the past couple of months we can see that most of investors selling out even for the smallest capital gain. but be optimistic this is the opportunity in my view. in emerging markets most suitable stocks to buy are banking stocks, given that SL tourism sector is in high note hotel sector would good sector to add to ur watch list and with development of infrastructure projects construction would not be bad as well.

Whatever profits gained by the CPC should be used efficiently without flowing into rogues' coffers. Price reduction of global oil prices even for one month period accumulate huge amount of money to CPC.

Since CPC will not reduce the fuel prices, this gain will be plus+plus into the CPC coffers reducing billions of accumulated losses.

Authorities should not let the group of thieves to gulp this income source.
