Keep records, of holdings, eg. if ZZL stock moving quickly then don’t chase it, think who is having it in their portfolio and buy it that will be the next runner (Eg. YYY Company having 10% of ZZL so it will be the next move)

I had many opportunities like that.

The only issue is the market is going down day by day for good stock averaging at what point is the issue,

Great! your post is very much helpful to small investors who always claim that they are loosing in this business. I believe you are trying to say to study the pattern and take decision.Is it? Buy at support level and sell decision should be taken when it reaches the resistance level as Quibit also explained in another post.
