Today the market has closed ASPI down by 13 points while MPI up by 79 points....

Anybody would think that now the milanka shares have started to move up while others are falling/stagnant...

But

I just checked the decomposition of the ASPI index....

WAPO has contributed minus 90 points to the index, in other words ASPI will be up by 77 points if the impact of WAPO shares were excluded...

Can a one single share change the market result upside down like this...

Regulators should have a look at these issues more seriously

WAPO has been driving up the market for a long time. It's right that things worked the other way for a change. However if you look very closely at how the market behaved today, you can spot another half dozen WAPOs in action.

sure , WAPO has been driving the market for several months..but if it was not there we could have experienced a more stable market...

The second negative contributor to the ASPI is BUKI with only 2.50 points down...

I think WAPO acted like a true gamble in the market...

And it is the role of the regulator to control such behaviours

I trade with JB, which gives extensive technical data on market.

Forget about WAPO for a minute...those who were smart enough to collect some BFI shares during last couple of weeks may have made some good short term profit. The market still offers plenty of opportunities whether the index is down or up. Be prepared to grab those.

I felt their research was terrible. If I remember correct according to them PE ratio of SPEN is 2.x something.

I think it is being prepared for the next few days. When the market dips down somebody will use something to keep something up.
