Sri Lanka’s Asiri Hospitals says very soon it will start construction work of its proposed “Asiri Kandy Hospital”.
This was revealed by the Chairman of the Asiri Hospitals Holdings PLC Dr. D. S. Rajapaksa, commenting on the company’s latest annual report.
“Among our ambitious plans is the establishment of the Asiri Kandy Hospital, construction is expected to commence soon”. He said in his review.
Meanwhile, the company announced that it has achieved a net profit of Rs. 398.86 million during the year 2011/2012 financial year, a growth of 45% over the previous year.
Rajapaksa commenting further on the firm’s annual report said, “We also have plans to open fully-fledged state-of-the-art laboratory facilities in Batticaloa and Anuradhapura in the near future”.
Hospital firm is also planning to commence constructing a new laboratory building in Narahenpita very soon.
The hospital which is operating a network of satellite laboratories and sample collections centers across the Island says it will also establish a fertility center as well.
Asiri Hospitals, Asiri Surgical and Asha Central Hospitals, all come under the Asiri Hospitals Holdings PLC, which is a listed firm in the Colombo bourse.
