Last few days many people try to compare CFIN surprisingly.... companies like ALLI, LFIN and even with PHAR...!!!!
Think awhile & then ask yourself do you really can compare CFIN with any of these companies?

Yes agreed price shot up from Rs 800 to Rs 1150 in a matter of days. But it has every right to be in that position & it has every possibility to go even further. Last 5 years it made more than a billion profits continuously and always gives very attractive dividends. For size of the company and for size of the share capital, it is a tremendous achievement.
How on earth you can compare CFIN with PHAR no no chance at all. It is utterly disgraceful.

Last few months you can see that the price of CFIN did not move significantly.
Golden question WHY IS THAT?

SLIC is the one to blame for that. Whenever CFIN tried to rise, SLIC dumped huge quantities to the open market. Obliviously it could not move. Luckily they disposed the last remaining shares to Aloysius family recently.

This is still a Gem to my eyes.

P.S
As human you all may think that I have CFIN shares. Nope I don’t have a single share. Sold all my CFIN shares recently as I’m quite happy with more than 100% profits in less than a year investment.

Each and every share is unique. Comparison of different shares is not an easy thing. When I post some thing on a website I always try not to hurt any investors feelings and very sensitive towards individual shares, these are very sensitive issues. I try my best to avoid disseminate any negative sentiments. I only discuss good and impressive aspects of stocks. I am grateful for the administration of this website for your maintenance of good ethical standards.

I totally agreed, we can never compare CFIN with shares like PHAR, WAPO and ALLI. But I do not agree your argument in LFIN. Though LFIN has appreciated recently to this level, it's not still overvalued.
Still it's trading PER around 15.

Disclaimer: I do not hold any CFIN, LFIN shares. I disposed both CFIN and LFIN recently with a good profit.

Yes Monster I can agree with you. LFIN is a value share but in different scales. It is like someone compares SAMP with NTB. Both really good companies & both looks attractive for the current market prices. But when it comes to comparison SAMP & NTB are in different levels.
