Many investors are getting margin facillities from April 1st. Until 31st march most of them were under pressure to settle credit. Now they have buying power and start buying. That is the main reason and I beleive this trend will continue for a month or two. During that time there will be some instances with little drop too as usual.

I think its more than a issue of inflows, its fundamantals. This was seen the movement of large caps- not in speculative counters

Yes, I too am a bit comfortable to note that the market today was appearing to act more sane with some concentration on large cap, fundamentally stronger, undervalued companies as compared to previous runs of highly over valued illiquid counters.

If this trend continues if can sustain the market for a while. Else we are again commiting HARA KIRI. .

Also note that today too was retail driven market. Just be aware that most counters which went up today was oversold also. it was a mixed bag with good and the bad.

So let us watch for further trends to confirm the positive moves and if it continues let us be smart investors and not emotional gamblers to make a change this time
GO CSE!!!

@ slstock - totally agree with your comment. Deserve + rep but sorry I have run out of votes for the day.

It is a day with mixed results. Most of those fundametally solid shares started their postive movement. But today's market was more or less driven by the retailers, this is a worrying factor. Normally in the last couple of months, whenever there was a sudden upward momentum like this, we saw lots of foreign selling, but today that is not the case. Let's see, if this trend continues for the next couple of days, anything can happen.

CSE is doing better than UK and many other countries. Known CSE is better than unknown shares which were not studied.
