we can find out how to fluctuate share holding by major shareholders and others From last 10 Quarter reports . I can feel it helps to us how the COMD shares are very iliquidity stocks.

Report date==major shareholders===Others
30/06/2010======11692845===== 307155***If We assume this is fixed then
30/09/2010 ======11,693,745===306,255**nearly 900 shares others to major
30/12/2010 ======11,694,245===305,755**nearly 500 shares others to major
30/03/2011 ======11,729,045===270,955**nearly 35000 shares others to major
30/06/2011 ======11,677,378===322,622**nearly 51000 shares major to others
30/09/2011======11,666,053===333,947**nearly 11000 shares major to others
30/12/2011======11,680,768===319,232**nearly 14000 shares others to major
30/03/2012 ======11,677,347===322,653**nearly 3000 shares major to others
30/06/2012 ======11,655,782===344,218**nearly 22000 shares major to others
30/09/2012 ======11,657,615===342,385**finally 2000 hares others to major

always hold by Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC 11,345,705 shares 94.55%

So Mostly very less amount of shares always fluctuate between major share holders and others. maximum 51000 shares are fluctuate one time. that also traded because that time COMD went up to 185/= ... all other holders are fixed or inactive shareholders If we go through the last 10 Quarter reports only two or three major share holders were swap their stock.

So we can decided COMD very strong iliquidity stock.. ..mostly no one want to sell COMD ...But COMD trading in to the major shareholders more than 51000 when we see the trading Qty ...!!!

anything wrong guys...This is not a promotion just a idea about COMD which is how much are available in the market...
after long time I am talking about COMD .. Very Happy Very Happy Sad Sad

really interesting Jana! ... I can understand you deserve to sell your COMD..
how ever COMD is the lowest price pick compare with other illiquidty stock which is trading @ 400/=..700/=..1000/=.. 2000/=... 3000/=

End of this year report will show its NAV more than 100/= when they revalue their assets

and I am wondering then less than 10 million rupees enough to speculate . lol!

Pls stop opening new threads for COMD unless a development or a change is seen.. U can still search ur old posts and add a new message to it..

There're lot of members who are stuck with their shares bought high but they dont promote those here. The site is for investment discussion, not for promoting individual's holdings..

Pls understand..

Jana,

There have been numerous occasions the COMD discussions have been held.

Its not abt whether the information is good or bad, out of all the posts u've made, those were clearly 90% COMD..

So are u still telling me that ur not promoting this?

Truthfully, we have sympathy towards ur situation but we cannot buy your shares and help u out know?

Grievance is part and parcel of buying illiquids.. Now u've learnt it, buy some other shares and stop worrying abt COMD. It will have its days too..

Best thing is so sell little by little or a part of the shares even at a loss if u need money and move on to other good counters..

I'll give u a free advice;
Look at some penny stocks.. Like PAP, ATL, RICH... Look at companies that could benefit from this raining season.. Look at the companies recorded a good growth in Q3 despite the gloomy global and local economic conditions.

Any way we have only 260+ companies. And each company gives quarter results. And some people are experts on selected counters.

As far as the valuation is given , real fact are given ............repeating or updating ( both are same ? ) is not a promotions for me.

I dont know whether opening new topics is a criminal or not. Any way COMD is a good counter since it is illiquid. Some times JANA will gain a unexpected massive return if the correct set of people involved with the blessing of top 20 share holders.

SING collection happens at 100 - 250 level 2 years ago and ultimately it went to 1500-1800 level if i am not mistaken. Any way...................

I dont see any wrong with opening a new topic after the quarter results. Promoting good thing those backed with true reasons should be promoted. Other promotions should be demotivated with strong counter arguments. Opening new topic is not a good argument.......................

This is just my opinion and i always like to change my mind following others comments.

but Jana These shares will never go up if a good collection is not happen which u can identify through the behavior of the Top 20 list each quarters. Still COMD doesn't behave like that.

No hard feeling with any body i just opened up the topic to a new dimension. Always appreciate the hard work done by smallville .

All the best.

I dont oppose opening new threads for discussion but about this COMD there were many threads opened by the same person.

Now at least Jana has done some sort of an analysis to figure out the status of it but this should've gone to an already discussed thread so we have many facts in one thread.
If someone is reading he/she can read from top to bottom without any difficulty and all the facts are laid there for a decision.

Look at how TAH does his TA thread "Harmonic Price Pattern".. It started as a n educational thread then constantly being followed by TA of counters..
While he could post a new topic for each analysis he stick to the same thread cuz his analysis is related to HPP.

Its better to have many analysis on one counter in a single place rather than dispersed due to easiness for reference.
