Would agree this is not the greatest priority. But there were some good move for capital market development and longer term business trends.

If this move is to import some Ferrari s for their sons, it is grave for the country.

If its genuine move to diversify the economy its a good move, which I think so. These kind of initiatives are important for the long run prosperity.

The masses were made to believe that the developed nations are bankrupt with their sense or morals and World Bank, IMF are evil institutes.
But the very people who were portraying such gloomy pictures to masses want to emulate and go with a begging bowl to them.
Unfortunately, they start to emulate them from the wrong end.
Transparency, meritocracy, education & health are the things to be emulated and not street car racing.
The Gautham Buddha was right; the FOOLS look at the tip on the FINGER when the MOON being shown to them.

Concession given on racing cars made minus points over positive points in 2013 budget declared.

Budget committee should have thought twice to curb taxes considering the leading priorities of common people. The benefit of any tax increase could have passed to mass community who are really in need of more concessions.

In my view, this is the least priority should have been given in budget, as the majority of countrymen are still struggling to survive.

I wish, Government may reverse this decision soon.

I never expected this sort of tax relaxation from a budget.!

If they were so desperate, why did n't they introduce this when we had 20:20 world cup? That would have been the ideal situation to do this kind of tax reduction. People would not notice it that much. Rolling Eyes

Government just created an ideal situation for a paralyze opposition to bark (for a while).

I think overall this budget is a quite modest one. Of course very few major hiccups like this.

There's a chance they will reverse the decision ( once the top end demand is satisfied)
