Generally the market is very fickle and stocks run for a few days so I tend to use shorter moving averages. 5 days - 15 days (1 week - 3 weeks). Moving averages are for most part unreliable in this market on its own but this is just my understanding of it.

It's interesting that you brought it up because I, too, am hoping to gain more insight on moving averages from others in this forum and its validity.

Yes indeed, i think we should keep in touch with both moving average and other parameters sometime moving signal is green but due to other reason price will fall

I use some mathematical predictions sometimes they are wrong we can't calculate statistics because stocks are not independent variables
