Dont even dream to compare CSD and HVA.......
CSD is a great counter for all the investors. It is like buying a land from Colombo in front of the Galle road at a cheaper value.

Yes but that land is never going to be sold since the main shareholders rent the property. So it's more like buying an apartment and renting it out. The investor is never going to get the benefit of the land appreciation so CSD should be valued on PE (EPS of 80 cents PE of 12 seems only slightly undervalued)

SCD is debt free..............
It is just a matter if time for Seylan to increase the rent. Land price goes up means rent will also goes up.
Land is not the case but the entire property. Even a bare land is valued at its net assets value. Not the PE. Specially for Property businesses. But better buy a huge quantity (5% ) other wise no point.

You are wrong...Its Time to kick out Seylan from that building & transform the premisses into a Luxury Hotel, will give more returns than the rentals payed by the Seylan... Evil or Very Mad

But u know it is very difficult to increase the rent even since Seylan is not consider about the minority share holders. Ur idea is great. At least the mkt Square feet price is enough.

HVA is a profit making company too. PLUS with its nature and history. if u buy at the right price. u can gain 15% minimum in a month or two.
what is the right price u ask?
the right price no body can guess. but all time low was 9 or something. but now its stable above 13.....

I wouldn't touch HVA, its a dud company and is regularly manipulated by the directors and inside parties. If you want to buy in, get it below 13 or 14. Don't bother otherwise.
