Before New Year.

1) More selling pressure before new year to release funds and/or settle T+5 credits --> Price levels going down
2) Less selling pressure after new year since most traders still away from market --> Price levels going up

We have 3 days left including today before New Years, In an ideal sense Tuesday would be the pressure day.
What do u think?

Now is the best time. Now meaning Present, because it is too late to mourn about the Past and too early to predict the Future.

Cheers

Towards newyear market will be sluggish due to less participation, holding power ect. This is the good time to buy if you can hold until after new year

Prudent & Intelligent players would have already picked solid shares at rock bottom prices when the market was down last few weaks. Normally the market will go red due to credit clearance. lot of firms wil close thier accounts for FY End and the Brokering firms too have to do this. but this time additional factors dragged the market down. Market started moving up from 1st becos certain players trying to grab whatever they could

After the New year everyone will jump in, market will start moving. You have a chance to get in
but have to get in and out at the right time.

it also depends on what type of investor you are, and what kind of stocks you select.

Different players have different strategy.

You have to have patience and you shouldnt be too greedy to win .. win.. win

I was telling that market would pick up in APRIL since early March. Now it is picking up as expected some might buy now others might wait till after New Year, it is up to the investors to decide when to enter.

It's obvious that its up to the investors to decide but the question is not that! The question is when is it better before the New Year or After?

Predictions with Justifiable reasoning!

Difficult to advice others. I personally think prices would not come down further. Reasoninung is also difficult, looks like trend is upwards.

This is like March end up trend expecting April beginning rally. But market has proven that It is not a reality.

Now people are buying expecting post-new year rally.

There is one thing I can't understand, that is increasing selling pressure in the market despite it is said so call fore selling is over till June.

Post April sell orders seem to be bigger than end March (for example LOLC etc).

IMHO, if market do not pick up after new-year. There will be .........

Right you are academic. And I feel really sorry for the people who chased after LOLC at 128. But These people should have asked themselves why they are buying a share at 128.00 when less then 24 hours earlier, they turned up their noses at that same share on offer for 117 and refused to touch it.

Monday would be the ideal time as tuesday is too close to holidays. Today market was up on Liquid shares not like last few days which went up on Illiquid shares. I think it's a good signal that market is picking, some fundementally good stocks picked up today.
