foreign Fund bought more than 70 Million shares of touchwood.

TWOD has become quite a interesting and confusing topic in the recent past, many alleging there business model is fraudulent and its a ponzi scheme. Under all these allegation and difficulties who must have bought this large stake.

Total foreign purchase today is Rs. 292mn
70mn TWOD shares will amount to almost Rs. 400mn

Earlier you said today's. Now you say yday's. I would like to point out that there was no transaction reported as per credible sources.

The site you mentioned is not a "source"

I dont know weather its a source or what, i generally refer this website to check foreign buying or selling and also to do some analysis, up until this moment it has been quite helpful to me. they basically report today's market summery tomorrow, thats there normal procedure.

I just wanted to spread this info with the investment community since this company is being alleged by many without any credible evidence on hand. i thought this might be helpful to certain people.

Appreciate your intent. No hostility. But I am trying to point out that there might have been a mistake since CSE daily reports suggest no such transaction. Anyway, how can you say it's a foreign 'fund'?

K &M is 100% correct. This news is there at the site he mentions. First time I also got to know that site. It seems very informative and nicely organized.

However If somebody doubts this information , there are grounds for that also.

I also had some doubts about this information since this type of transaction ,specially TWOD can't go unnoticed, because there are lot of TWOD enthusiasts in this Forum.

I checked CSE daily transactions, couldn't find such a big transaction. I thought it may be a crossing. Some times crossings are not reflected in CSE daily trading data.
I Didn't follow this story , since I have no interest in TWOD.

I really appreciate K &M 's effort in bringing this to the Forum , even though he can't vouch for accuracy. I have no doubt about his sincerity , in making a service to Forum members.

Well when 70 millions shares were purchased obviously it has to be either a fund or private equity firm. This why at the end of the comment i said we must look in who bought these shares.

I f you have chek this DU invest you will find out that its an reliable web site. I dont know on what intention they have given false information

70 mn shares is 66% of the total shares issued.

Further not even the Top 20 shareholders combined have that many shares.

Please don't take stories at face value. It is up to you to believe or not, but when you don't care to think a bit about it, don't post incorrect information.

its not my fault that DU invest produce wrong information and i also wanted find out who was this person or firm who bought this large stake (note my first comment) this information was posted to clarify these issues. its not fair to say what to post or what not to post. There were many posts which are 100% false posted without any valid evidence done with the intention of promoting there stocks.

If some party bought that much ,they have to do a mandatory offer , and that would have been big news, specially considering the present attention to TWOD. It appears this news is inaccurate. Credit to you for your inquiring mind.

However, as I have previously mentioned I vouch for the appearance of the information at that site (may be still there ). The site seems very much informative, organized and nicely presented. I was also inquisitive about the site and even I send a private message to K&M , inquiring any knowledge about the people behind that site.

you are correct here also. But you know, you don't think that much when there is info ,chart, table in a website , specially if the site is is familiar to you. Usually at the first instance you don't analyze the info. Even I didn't do that ,though I try to verify. The analysis happens when you discuss with someone, as happened here.

agreed, but I have not blamed K&M for his actions. From the beginning all I asked was to read the official sources first. Besides, any other sites will pick up information from there.

About the posters you mentioned - with time, you get to know these people and they obviously do not have any credibility by now. Only the new joiners would be fooled, which the mods try to minimize as possible.
The difference is when someone sees a sourceless rumour one 'may' try to make a decision on it and fall into the trap. But when an incorrect information is given by a 'source' which many trust, then you can't blame him too much.

even CSE has had it's share of errors, but still it is the primary source for these kind of information

# you can't see details of crossings by this time. Only place I see details of CROSSINGS is CSE Daily (PDF ), which they finalize and post much later in the day, around 5.00 pm. (Don't know whether I am wrong here.)
# I get my Brokers daily report around 4.00pm, which give details of CROSSINGS, usually that's the data I rely on.

So......., this is how it happens, I mean, you have to rely on third party data rather than CSE because of the timing ,delays.

Does it really matter??? The only time a foreign fund changed a company in a meaningful/meaningless (you pick which one) way was GREG.....
