NDB, HNB ,NTB ,Samp already declared dividends and they had some sort of share appreciations. Now remaining good banking Shares are DFCC and COMB.
I think DFCC would declare a good dividend by May. Can DFCC pass RS. 150/=?

DFCC need serious changes, management is lethargic. Need a complete revamp in the management . Hope Arjuna will dd some dynamism

Unlike NDB,HNB,NTB,SAMP -DFCC is a march company (Bank)!!

Friend they have enough funds, but i feel still they very conservative in the lending!

Also another issue whether they treat the among the DFCC and DVB equally?

Their commercial banking arm DVB whether the services are par among the competitors? They have started a PFS division, if am not mistaken it is headed by a Former Seylan Staff, what is the performance of the PFS division?

They have started the premier banking in Colombo 07, does anybody know the Monthly rent of the branch?

As Salt pointed out i feel Mr. Arjuna will do something, to bring it to the next level, very recently he implemented the scheme where internal employees were given priority, and if they are not in a position internally promote only they recruit from the competitors.

So i feel we have to wait at least for another year to see the change in the management, i think he will head the bank from this August!

I invest in DFCC shares since its IPO. They usually pay good dividends & capital gains are substantial. True, they are a little conventional in lending, but their investments in the banking system are enormous.

Me too having a good look at this share. For the last two weeks or so there was some appreciation in price from 118.00 to 130.00 level. I think still there is enough room to grow. With the expected dividend in May/June this will have a run.
