Recently NDB, COMB, HASU and SAMP were given either stock splits or scrip dividends. However while the CDS shows the extra shares it does not correctly show the correct cost of the shares. I wrote several times to my stock broker to correct these with no satisfactory result. For example NDB still shows the old cost price per share eventhough the price should be half of that to account for the 1:2 split. Do you folks have any ideas as to who should correct this? The same thing has happened in the other stocks I mentioned at the start of this topic. Would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

This is common issue we are all having I guess. Usually you broker/IT department should be able to correct this on request but unresponsive personelle is the issue.

If you have Direcft Fn software you actually can do it yourself. On your portfolio you can edit your cost of shares to be what you want. I am not sure about other software.

I actually did that with TWS but the next time you log in it still shows the old cost. Lokka1

Hmm,.. did you try again ? I used to work for me with directfn. When you exit you can save your environemnt but usually saves it on to your computer I think. You can try. I am sure whether it will update you portfolio database as well.

BTW, if your broker does not repond, you can contact the IT department directly. They should be able to help you too. ( unless they are lazy)

I just checked saving a figure but its not working Slstock.. sadly their own prices were displayed instead.. I think trying with IT dept would fix it..
