It is a best hidden fundametal gem could give about 400% return during real bull run. EPS-40, PE-10-15 Can hit upto 300-400..

So far I couldn't find any big issues with this company apart from last year tax issues which they overcame.

Disclose: I have considerable qtys which bought below 95.

Tx Jana for your comments. what i'm wondering here is why still people going behind craps where we have HIDDEN GEMS like ABAN. Look for the entire 2012 year their lowest price was Rs 88. but still trading at Rs93 levels. why cann't people check these type of things before buy anything?

Dont worry, they will buy at 250 level assuming it will go 500.. That is people mentality.. Most of them are followers they need fluctuation to get small bucks to buy coffee with..

Just look at the below thread. It will gives us the true value of ABAN and how even directors valued it.

Accordingly to Abans 9 month to Dec 12 financials. TO for the 9 flat but Cost of sales down LKR 72Mn. That is where all the profit growth is coming from compared to the previous 9 months. At the same time inventory value has doubled to 564Mn (up 280Mn). Profit after the massive growth is only 105Mn which shows how susceptible it is to a manipulation inventory over valuation etc I am not saying it is manipulated but things don't quite add up.
I wouldn't rush to buy this.

When i came to CSE the ABAN was at 120 level. At that i didnt have that much knowledge about share trading and i was so curious this share which was at the top of the LIST (A) keep on increasing but it was a great gradual hike. There were no 30 - 40 % day increments.

Exactly same is repeating 93 - 100 -120 -128 - 115 - now again 125.
results may be good since they normally adjust it with Stocks as above mentioned. And NAV also great......................

Everyone got scared for the bear .

I agree that presently the way profits were realized was not convincing.

But if we believe in a big bull in the future and knowing how companies changes there earning potential during better economic environment ( just see the turn around of some companies inclulidng ABAN in 2009-2011) , the present share price is not high. Even if you consider the NAV of Rs 130 and a adjusted annual earning of rs 15 ( just syaing) I think it worth Rs 125 now.

If fact when ABAN was at Rs 88 it was the lowest for several years. Just to think this is a share that ran to Rs 380one time.

Why ABAN is still trading @ present levels?

I think its mainly because of one of their directors (Benjamin fella).

He kept selling this counter at a number of occasion. I really cannot understand the purpose of his sellings.
(unless he buys back more shares via a 3rd party.)

I also have ABAN shares n no plans to sell at this rate. but NOT expecting a super duper quarter result this time ( like last couple of quarters).
