1. is it a good time to enter?

We're expecting a pull back as CSE has run without a stop for weeks. A rest is welcome at this moment. However, if u dont follow hot stocks and speculative or crap and set a med term target u can buy good stocks and have a vacation.

2.what are basic good shares to buy and hold

We call fundamental shares are best to hold. The companies with a solid financial background, can take country policy advantages for their growth, YOY revenue growth, less debt, a good business model, knowledgeable management, a demanding business for future are few things you would look at.

3. are there any minimum investments amounts.(by experience)

No

4.which broker firm has good expert guides.

This is a highly vague area.

If you wanna trade, go for a broker like Capital Trust, Asha phillip, Asia securities with Directfn connection so that u can fo your buying selling on ur own. If you're happy dealing with a adviser, Asha, CT Smith are also good. There may be others too which I have no dealings at the moment to share with.
Whoever your broker is, trusting the investment adviser as ur life is a foolish thing. U may get so many advises to buy this and that but u should consult with ur knowledgeable friends, this forum, experienced investors before buying shares as brokers can take u for rides.

As Sriranga pointed out, search the forum.. U may be surprised to find all the info u need is in this place. Wink
Good luck.

A bit to add..

as smallville mentioned, we are in a stage that market need some rest. but even this period we may see some rallies and corrections of certain shares.

it is best to buy some fundamental stock as of beginning then take a rest for while.

some of good shares to analyze,

COMB
JKH
SHL
PLC

there are sahres that have potential to give some short-mid term returns with high risk.

SEMB
FLCH

Same time there some shares that would be appreciate, but cant say when.
JINS
CFVF
KHL

it's always better to start with a fundamental share anyway.
above mentioned shares are just examples. please dont rely on my words. there are many other shares that have their own strength. please do analyze before jump.

ps: Im 100% agree with KDDND.

if you want to learn fast you should actively involve in CSE. Do few trades. You will earn some and loose some. Don't be afraid to take ur loss early. That is a part of the business. Learn how to control greedy and fear which are the most difficult things do. One thing to hilight, When king Dhammika Perera entered to CSE, he was asked to invest 50M. Although he was capable enough to invest such a amount, he invested only 3 laks and studied the system for 3 years. In this game no one is perfect. Good luck.
