I have already sold out 80 % of my portfolio with around 40 % annual gain. Now trying to find a good investment option ready to keeping the share around 1 year maximum. At this point it looks LLUB.N as the best option and i'm looking for another few shares as well RHL.N , KCAB.N are few. What do you think as good shares to buy at this point

Did you sell your CFVF and if so, at what price ?
I recall you had approx 120,000 shares right ?

Looing at CFVF, it appears still collection is going on? What do you think?

I sold 20% of my holdings at Rs 15.7 but no where near Taniya's league with quantity.

Before friday rate cut, my target price was 18-20.
Now, it seems, party may spill over to june quarter as well, depending on interest rate scenario in june / july.
Chinwi, i think, is in a better position to advise us !

Yes i sold all my CFVF at different price levels. My last quantity 20000 sold at 16.00 , However my avg buying cost was 12.20 and avg selling price was 14.57. Now im a bit dissapointed about selling cfvf. But Happy with my choice of buying CFVF at 12.20. I bought 5000 LLUB at 250 to 255. Now my P/F only consist LLUB 5000 and NEST 1050 shares which i bought at 1200.

Yes NEST is a good long term investment though its current price is a bit overvalued there is no reason for declining the price as it has a consistent future growth. But what do you think about my choice of LLUB. They will give around 90% of their earnings as dividends once they shifted their company to new location. So it would be around 20 rupees per share at this point. Further they will be able to reduce the cost of production by new plant. Their brand name Caltex is well established in sri lanka. So it seems future growth is bright though they have got some competitors behind them.

The stock that you sold is still a good buy. Why don’t you consider VONE, AEL and PLC.

I am not happy with that business as it's all about smoking. So will never invest money on CTC

VONE looks good as a holding company of very good companies in sri lanka. But there are better shares than VONE. AEL is probably the third largest private construction firm in Sri lanka. Behind MAGA and ICC. I heard they are not good in quality constructions. Some fly overs and roads are already not functioning well. SoThis is the best time for construction but in the future it may not be same as now. So i'm always thinking construction is not the best place to invest. PLC is good waiting to collect it at 13 -14. Dont know will it come down or not.
