Hi everyone ,

Just to share some information I sold off Twod at break even point . and also got rid of BIL at a small loss I was getting impatient as BIL was not moving and sold twod not knowing where this whole CIFL story will end . I heard through the grape wine that amaya (Conn) is tipped to move up. might be rumour but they seeem to be on a growth spurt. might be good to have a look at financials.

I might consider buying some CONN and CSD tomorrow . Please share your thoughts. I'm more confident about CONN than CSD but some members have pointed out that CSD NAPS is high. let me know what everyone thinks.

Today market down bez of profit taken so this down trend will be continive ASI 6100 level why we lost mony i will waiting 2 chanse i don't like take a high risk Shocked

Aubrey Perera, I'm really amazed and worried about your post....
You are asking opinion from unknown people, some having their own agendas, misleading many... I have some questions for you?
1. Do you have any supporting research for your tomorrows Decision (Ex, did you analyze the financial statement, shareholder, past price movements, future prospects for both companies, is it relatively under valued compared to the peers, will this investment suit your risk appetite, etc.)
2. Will you lend Rs.10,000.00 a friend of yours, knowing that he may not return? no difference here in the stock market, you are loosing actual money, every cents is real money lost. Do not invest in unknown shares at the same time don't be complaisant and sell shares at a loss assuming you will cover up with future investments.
I seriously recommend you the following:
1. There are many very good Fund managers in the country who have long track records of outperforming the CSE returns when it comes to private portfolio management. (Ex. CT Fund Management, NDB Wealth management, National Asset Management Limited etc.) Seek advice from them.
2. Invest in mutual funds.

Please take this advice seriously. Stop loss orders are for traders, not for long term investors, know your investments, if not seek help from reliable sources, not from unknown people from a web page.

well conn is nt a bad counter,bt a slow mover.

btw wait until month end,you may get chance to buy low

Thanks Lion Bought CSD this morning BESP is at 11.25 so I'm all right actually made more than the small loss on BIL. Check conn financials and you might see something there , there is up side for this counter. But I din't buy CONN need to to invest some more cash or wait for CSD to hopefully move up further and re invest in CONN if it doesn't go up by that time.

I already have invested in Aviva NDB and have many investments with them Smile

there long term investments strategies are great.

I don't think BIL is a bad counter. It is diversified a company . It would move slowly. If this is not a good counter Greg would not buy a large quantity at 5.50.
