Scrip dividend issuing banks are hard for technical people to value

Why should we go after JKH? ITs heading for a correction.. May be few 100s would do the deal after stabilization.. After all it has foreign interest. But my idea is, we're already paying a premium to buy a company which has nothing new.. Will they sell a bit of NTB and do some investment with it? Then its a YES.. But how is VONE as an alternative..

May be we've made a mistake by not following LLUB too.. See where it is now.. LLUB has been subjected to several sub-divisions and still managed to keep grounds in 300s.. May be too much now but not much slowin..

Also what about Hydro plants like HPFL and Hemas?

Agreed. why should we buy matured companies like JKH which is currently overpriced. If we want to buy holding company, why not vone.

I'm also bullish on VONE, They are very agrresive in expansion through acquisitions. After IPO they have done several acquisitions for the past couple of years- including Delmege group, Orit appearal, CERA group, another 25 % LFIN via RCL. I think the Summer Seasons project is on hold. KDDP is more fond of Mergers and Acquisitions rather than organic growth.

First the investor should determine what kind of a investor is within him. If you are a risk avoider kind of a person, then go for big stable, mature companies. You may benefit from regular dividends and stable capital appreciation.

Say you are a risk taker and look for a higher reward for the risk that you are taking, Then you should focus on new companies who are still at the initial phrase. Best approach is to see the recent past investments. If a company more into investing now, that means there is a potential to increase its profits in the future. You may not get much dividends or capital appreciation for some time. But when the investments start making revenue, there will be more to look forward to.

Yes agreed.

Also there are companies that are in growing stages and paying dividend.

If one needs an example ( if you don;t mind Dammika Perera companies as some don;t like them )
