Don't forget what goes up must come down even though Aban, Cabo have shown good results any downward movement can see this coming down at the same pace ....slstock this as well can not be good for new comers and beginners Smile these are illiquid counters and once you get in to them if buying dries up you can be caught on the wrong side of the fence. If you don't have experience be watchful. if you know how to ride the bull then do so by all means....but new comers should be watchful.

Oh yes. There are corrections andshort term down trends.

We need to clearly understand that short term prices can go up as well as down. But will it end up higher than a month ago after the correction and run again? If it does that what make a longer term up trends.

I will hardly think DFCC will come down Rs 100 again even if drops to rs 130. I hope new comers see the difference with Speculatives and fundamentals and short term and long term.

If one can;t hold and prices drop we should not cry. You are called a trader and should take actions differently from a long term investor.

Btw, ABAN can drop maybe upto Rs 140 even if it needs to get out of this over heated trend of 3 days. Sometimes in panic people can over sell so it goes down more. But recall its NAV is 130 atleast.

good but usual advice. no one has come up with a solution (method, pattern, calculations or what so ever) to identify the peak. may be theres no way to do it. just thoughts and discussions only.

1. Abans not worth at 150? why?

2. worth at 150? why?

Thoughts and discussions might be the only method to keep our feet firmly on the ground. method, pattern, calculations always good to identify trends but it might not mean anything when things start to go wrong ....past history is a testament to this. We are sometimes at the mercy of the big boys and no amount of calculations can help us. best way is to try are best to keep our head above the water and try to survive. make hay while the sun shines so to say....

If u can hold it. Else sell it and walk away.. You dont need any alalyser to find fundamental. Go and check their financial statements. I know the guys who is behind to this run and I know where it is heading to if the mkt can in uptrend for next 6 months. That is y I mentioned since it was in 90..

Before this thread gets out of hand.

New comers : If you not an Investor ( like short term trading and do not have holding power) and not sure how to figure out trends do not get into ABANS or any other share that ran a lot. Else people will cry later after a week saying they bought at higher price and ask when it will go up again.

We mentioned so many times when ABANS was trading at Rs 90-100 .

After a share runs, it can come down due to selling. By how much nobody can exaclty say. But if the share has fundamental value it will go up with time again. Notice the pattern of LLUB. For years it was trading between Rs 160-190. now it is Rs 350. It might drop butit very unlikely it will go back to Rs 190 as it has fundamental values.

The main Issue is forum is full of short term people who want quick profit and can't bear to see a share drop.

Very few long term investors are here and when we talk about l investing people mis interpret as they have short term trading goals and blames if a share goes down in short term

Honetly how many of you are here to buy a share for 3 year investment?

imho, if you buy share in a wrong time even though it has fundamental value, it can eventually be ended up a long term investment. Remember most of the blue chips has come down drastically since 2011, only JKH and very few could bounced back.

Wappula,

If a strategy works for you stick with it as long as you know what you are doing.

If you can daily monitor the market and are in it full time one can try and optimize buying and selling.

Waiting till it hit a specific bottom, selling and thinking to buy back later might be easy when the bear is in control. The time gaps are long. But some strategies that worked during bear period might not work when the full bull is in control ;-)
Sometimes there is somethign called selling too early.

It is too early to talk about the full bull yet. So these picking bottom and approx tops might work still.

But the people who was in it in Sept 2010 will know what I am talkign about. If you sell in the morning thinking you can buy in 2 days it would have been too late then.

In general ( not targetted at wappula)

There are so many example shown in the forum about the power of long term investment . Pointless talking about them if one is not interested . So easiest thing to say is stick to what you are good at as long it bring profit for you.

.

thank you Mr. slstock,
yes you are correct (every time),

normally, in this high risk business,

we might understand our personal issues,
for me,
1.lack of English knowledge
2.can't read(Understand)financial report properly
3.I am lived in deep south I don't know anything about company,
4. I can't see drop my hard earn money,
so after thinking long time I thought this strategy best fit to me
I can wait another couple of year in that day I WILL INVEST MY EVERY CENTS
PLS, NEW C0MERS OLD C0MERS THINK ABOUT YOURS DON'T FALLOW OTHERS
what is best for you,

@ wappula,

I entered to this stock business due to curiosity and spend my first 3-4 years without much greed to earn .
I was working in Govt. and once in a while did some part time work using my technical and management know-how. Income from those were invested in stocks when I felt good.

Never used any credit until I got enough experience .

If you can stay calm and study about particular type of stocks, 2-3 year patterns , interest rate cycles, bond rates cycles that will give you enough power to dominate in future.

Occasional losses are not bad for learning long term. Report studying is an art, first few years no one do it correctly.

We had only Daily news to get yesterdays stock prices. Now you should use IT to get info.

@Chiniwi!

I like your way of learning.....

coz I am currently experiencing some of them...... now

I like to hear from you..... bit about the patterns/relationship of
a.interest rate cycles,
b.bond rates cycles &
c.impact of it to CSE..... from your experiences & understanding......

Report studying - I mainly focus on EPS, NAVPS - PBV, DY......and their growth compared to previous year/quarter...

Not like early days now IT solution provide us to 24X7 service to learn & practice by ownself without intermediaries.... this is very good for people who has better idea of all the element of the CSE investments....

Thx Chiniwi for the words from your taxic knowledge .......for us!
