Mainly I was saying as per the share price movement wise and not with the company performance. Required a big push. hope with plan hotels project and shopping complex will be in success and will be good in future run.

Econ I know your view changed after buying during the past highs and going through a long  bad bear. So your  long term investment view is tarnished and short term appears the best right now.

But remember when the bull starts chasing shares,  and your losses changes to profits , your view will change.  I presume you have good shares  in your portfolio.

For example we got a recent taste what a bull will look like in ABANs run. Very little time to react even when it starts running.

The issue is the recent bull does not have much energy. so some shares stuck with previous time with not much loss kept for long term hoping company growth and waiting for dividends.

I am not talking about you both.

But it not easy to talk and prove a point when market is lethargic.  Specially when  the forum is full of people who want  to make money over night and talks only about short term benefits and fluctuations and looses.

All I can say is when the real bull starts when a share starts running , people will chase them like crazy and  talk about how much more it can increase over the years.  Short term concepts might not work at that time to maximize profit.

Right now  though it appears  market is negative, those who bought and were involved from  ASI 4700 won;t say the same

If one prefers short term over long term it is their wish. also we can mixed portfolio f short term and longer term ( I do too) .  But the problem with having totally  too many short term people is  panic, fear, greed and uncertainly .

Come to think of it , it is not problem as such will give  opportunities for others ;-)

I also think KDDND your CFVF holding price its too much high. If you can dont jump all your money @ one price. Specialy you have bought CFVF @ it peak. If you are not 100% sure about the price buy quantitywise. Anyway I hope You will win over CFVF. Best luck.

I appreciate econ's & slstock's opinions......

You both saying the correct things.... as i feel...from the point of you both r  looking at the case........ best way to do...

The challenges to succeed in this game...
we should be talented to decide & act at the CORRECT...
Price, Time & Quantity to enter....... & exit....

for this we need to do & continue studying & analysis well and having an action plan & waiting with open eyes & minds.... to grab & drop!  i guess....

haa haa not so easy.... but we can clearly & correctly...say...once it happened ......whether we missed the train, caught the train or got into a wrong train...
