We should not forget market most times value shares ahead of time/ future earning.
By the time the results are out, prices could have increased or decreased ( basically adjusted to expectations.) This was the case with CFVF running to Rs 16 from Rs 11-12. So sometime we can miss the early bird special if we wait for report confirmations if we do not do our own homework early.
But if a company is going to continually increase its earning ( maybe QoQ growth ) and have increasing expectations, then even if we get in later after confirmation ( to be comfortable) we may have more distance to go. Seems to be the case with CFVF with present behavior.
If we try to do this with specualtives ( which may have 1 positve quarter ) , when the report comes out prices would have increased. If we then buy, it maybe at the top.
So we need to be careful in anycase with anyshare.
I am just presenting different views as there are 2 sides to looking at this.
