Simple explanation.......
In the bull trend most of us think that we are intelligent. So we make so many comments, greediness blind us whether the comments are factual or not.

But in bear trend all of us are scare to open the mouth, because something goes wrong (mostly), everyone start to bite our heads.

This is the buying time. but if u tell to buy now  majority will go against that. many here wants to by when the mkt is going up only. so that's the different here.

if we are analysing properly as u said we should see comments flooring at this stage. not at the stage when the market is on a upward trend.

but the sri Lankan style is different. most of our fellows starts to buy when the mkt is going up. and within few days they starts to sell at a loss when the mkt coming down.

why this is happening all the time? that is mainly because of the short term investment mentality we have. if ur a long term investor u starts to buy now. but if u get a chance to get a short term profit then better to take it as well.

Absolute !!! now is when the buying starts Smile...buy a liitle bit and see the trend if it drops further buy some more depending on how much you have to invest.....main thing is invest money in good shares, and invest money that you can hold !!! don't use your GF/wives money or your  sons/daughters education money. Don't put  all your eggs in one basket ...invest in FD's , wealth managers/unit trusts buy some gold , some real estate . even your investments so that you can take the pressure of one doing good and one doing bad....if your investing in stock...spread your portfolio....take a risk in maybe one share eg: Rs.100000 spread it as musch as possible may be take risk with only Rs.10000 DO NOT invest the whole Rs.100000 in a CSF or PCH taking a risk thinking it willl double in two days. as most often than not you will buen your hands...remember High risk High Gain ...low risk low gain (but this way you can sleep in peace) all the best!!!

if u know where are u going its no harm of putting all your eggs in one basket.

That is however may be against norms. but at the end of the day u feel proud of your selves.

This was expected. When the market indexes are up only JKH, NEST,CTC, LLUB went up but when indexes are going down most of other shares are going down.

Econ most of people go by the index. not by the value and the price of the individual shares.

Yes JKH,LLUB,NEST,CTC (JUST looks like correction ended up here) needed a correction. but that does not mean the prices of all the shares should come down.

Only very few go against that and one of share is CFVF.

just look and see CFLB price and the CLND price. can u beleive that? now just see the VONE price and the GREG price. can u beleive that?

why people are selling CFLB and VONE and buying CLND and GREG.

Again this is the sri lanakn style.

One needs to realise market has risen from 4800 points over last 9-10 months which is actually a good performance.

Taking a break or brake!

Cheers

GREG buying must be because capital trust promoting it. If you look at the shareholding you will see them up there. I do not like the CFLB management so not touching shares related to them but VONE looks attractive at this price.

Buy anything to do with a monopoly business you will not go wrong dont worry about the market ups and downs, how ever dont buy when the market is at a down trend wait till it gets stabilized. Maybe it will go down further if you have cash buy more shares of the same selected quantity dont have a portfolio of more than 10 shares. If you do then there is something wrong with your analysis or the market is in a bull phase.
