TAUsually we say when a stock's 14 day MA crosses above 50 day MA - its a buy. When 50day MA crosses above 100 day MA, it becomes a good buy. But this is only at the point when the indication was given.. If anyone buys after several days seeing this, it can be positive or negative too..
However, we cannot depend on one indicator to buy stocks on TA grounds.
So we couple the above with at least one or two or more of the below indicators to give up a more reliable signal;
Trendline breaks - Long/ Med term Upward or downward trend line is broken with Vol.
SAR - Needs to head down from stock candles (as seen now in CLPL.W13 chart)
MACD - MACD line (Red) needs to cross above the signal line (Blue). If this happens near or above 0 line, its a good indication of uptrend.
RSI - On a bull trend this goes from 50 to 90-100 range before a sell signal is given. Below 30 could be a good entry point when the indicator is upwards but may take some time for the stock to rally.. 40-50 may indicate a collection as well but not always.
ADX - shows strength of the trend. Line going upwards doesn't mean the stock price is going up. It only indicates whatever the price direction is, its strong and vice-versa.
As you can see in the above chart, it indicates a downward price trend since 5.0
Bollinger Bands - Some stocks reverse the trend when upper or lower bollinger bands were cut. Some others go more up/or down the line.
Then again, different stocks have different personalities.. All don't fall into the above category. Illiquids, imo, can never fit
these chart.. Those have trading ranges and sometimes simple trend lines can be used to identify these.
About CLPL warrant 13;

As per the chart, CLPL.W13 is resting above 61.8% Fibonacci support level @3.0.
Different TA indicators represent different reading for this.
MA = SELL
ADX = Negative (Weak)
RSI = Negative
VOL = High
MACD = Neutral (SELL since it hit 5)
MONEY FLOW = Positive (Has always been above 0)
PARA. SAR = BUY
From recent price chart history, SAR & MACD has been a good indicator of uptrend.
SAR has turned, now MACD needs to give the other signal.
The quantity available with retailers is low. Someone with 100K shares can also manipulate this imo.
